• For horses weighing under 600 lbs. use 4# pads. (recommended for horses suffering laminitis)
• For horses weighing between 600 lbs. and 1500 lbs. use 6# pads.
• For horses weighing over 1500 lbs. use 9# pads.

When used in conjuction with the proper amount of exercise, these pads have proven to be indispensible in our efforts to return needed structure. They will also help to prevent further trauma in the foot that has been compromised by laminitis or founder. Their unique cell structure dissipates energy and shock better than any other type of hoof pad on the market. These pads are ideal for use in hoof boots. This pad is easy to trim and can be heat welded to itself, allowing the trimmer to create custom pads with frog or bar support when needed. When sprayed with Silvetasol prior to application they will not promote microbial growth.
