Active Graduates

PRACTICING EXCELENCE

Over the past twenty-five years, the Institute has graduated several hundred hoof care providers worldwide. The following list includes graduates who have chosen to remain active with the Institute. These active alumni are committed to “Never-Ending-Improvement” and collaborate to advance the modern hoof care industry.

Qualified hoof care providers are listed below. The Institute employs a star rating system to indicate the level of achievement for each active alumnus. All active graduates who complete Continuing Professional Development training receive a Level rating.

  • ADAEP identifies active graduates of the Advanced Level Two Program, listed under the Advanced Level 2 heading.
  • DAEP refers to the Level One Diploma in Applied Equine Podiatry, which is listed under the Level One graduates heading.
    • Note that a (**) denotes an active level 2 student. 
Graduates do not represent themselves as medical professionals, but as Applied Equine Podiatrists who implement the theories and principles of Applied Equine Podiatry. Each graduate adheres to the guidelines established in the Institute’s Code of Ethics. Their work is held to the highest standards, and their expertise in equine foot care is extensive. Graduates do not claim to diagnose or treat diseases of the equine foot. However, under the authority of an attending veterinarian, they provide the highest level of care possible. Effective hoof care requires a collaborative approach involving the owner, veterinarian, and an active DAEP.
